The Bayswater Football Club recently held its annual general meeting and after the annual report was tabled all committee positions were open for election. The club is pleased to announce that Mark Rooney will continue on in the role of president with Kevin Williams as vice-president and Dale Rowe returning as club secretary.
The club can now look forward to planning for the upcoming season and making a positive impact both on and off the field in 2014. It was pleasing to see a number of committed enthusiastic people join the committee for the 2014 season and if anyone is interested in assisting the club in any capacity please don't hesitate to contact Mark Rooney 0448 555 006 or Dale Rowe 0421 327 058.
We are also pleased to announce Neil Winterton will have Carl Barker as his assistant coach. Carl is a former senior player and club best-and-fairest winner in both the seniors and reserves and will be fantastic in helping develop our young list. The club has appointed a new reserves coach for next season after Ash Vandelaak decided to concentrate on playing. Michael James joins us for 2014 and has a playing background with Croydon while they were in Division 1. Since retiring from football Michael has had a successful coaching career at Ferntree Gully as premiership coach of the U19s in 2012 and a senior assistant in 2013.
We welcome both new coaches to the club and look forward to them helping to develop a winning and successful culture.
The club would like to wish all players, supporters and sponsors all the best for the festive season and look forward to 2014 with enthusiasm. Go Waters!
